Back Story, the 10th Reed Ferguson Mystery, Is Here!

Back StoryI’m so excited to announce the release of Back Story, the 10th novel in the Reed Ferguson mystery series. I can’t believe the series is up to number 10. All the gang is back: Willie, Cal and the Goofball Brothers, along with some interesting new characters. Here’s a bit about the story:

The past and the present collide with stunning results in the latest Reed Ferguson mystery.

Potential client Brad Webb asks Denver private investigator Reed Ferguson to look into the decades-old murder of Brad’s grandfather, Dewey Webb. Dewey was a Denver-based private detective who died mysteriously in 1955, and although Reed is intrigued, he doesn’t see much promise in solving the case. After all, the police didn’t find Dewey’s killer at the time, and seventy years have passed, leaving a cold trail. However, Reed accepts the case, and as he is drawn back into both the underworld and the elite society of 1950s Denver, he realizes that Dewey had discovered secrets that someone still wants to keep hidden today, even if it means resorting to murder. Can Reed piece together old and new clues to find the killer, or will the past come back to harm him?

I am not a writer, but an avid reader. I have lived in Denver all my life. My last 22 years has been in the Neusteters loft building at 16th and Stout. Reed has driven by many times. I occupy Myron Neusteters executive office. I hope you would consider coming to visit for a setting. My good friend lives at the Bell Tower lofts as 2nd and Lincoln. Another site for crime and/or justice. I love your work. However, in this latest, an error occurred. It is Santa Fe DRIVE not avenue. Keep up the good work and I am glad to see that Ace and Deuce are of more help to Reed. Thanks.

Loved ‘Back Story’! A real page turner, could not put it down. Loved the dual stories 1955 & 2015- great concept.
