The Third Fan Is Now Available!

The Third FanIn case you missed it, the 9th Reed Ferguson mystery, THE THIRD FAN, is on sale (wow, I can’t believe we’re up to nine in the series). Here’s a little about it:

Reed Ferguson returns in another page-turner mystery set in the world of professional baseball.

When Charlie Preston, second baseman for the Colorado Rockies, is suspected of murdering his best friend, Pete Westhaven, he turns to Denver private investigator Reed Ferguson for help. Reed believes in Charlie’s innocence, so he takes the case. But as Reed digs into the murder victim’s past, he quickly finds himself ensnared in the clandestine underworld of illegal steroids. As the lists of suspects grows, Reed battles not only to solve the crime, but also to save the person he loves most.

All of Reed’s pals are back in this humorous tale with a clever homage to film noir.

The early reviews have been great:

Renée Pawlish has written perhaps the best book of the Reed Ferguson series with The Third Fan. Usually series start to peter out after 4 or 5 books, but I can honestly say that this series just gets better…The characterizations in this book revealed real people. The pacing and plot kept me involved to the end. If you have liked any of the books in this series, you’ll like The Third Fan.

I love Renée Pawlish’s books. Her writing style is A+. Reed Ferguson is a quirky character but engaging just the same. It isn’t a constant white knuckle bite your nails storyline but it keeps you guessing and definitely keeps you turning pages.

Very suspensful with twists and turns. Great book like the rest of the Reed Ferguson Mystery Series!

Renée Pawlish is a master of story telling. Great book that flows with just enough action and dialogue. I love how old detective movies are intertwined in the plot of this series. The Third Fan is truly 5 stars and more.

Brava Renée- you hit it out of the park!

Thanks to ALL my fans – you’ve helped make this book a hit. Stay tuned, as book #10 is coming soon!
